Nurse Leader As Coach: Creating High Performance Teams
Nurse Leader as Coach reframes leadership for today’s complex healthcare environment. Drawing on evidence and real-world practice, this presentation explores how nurse leaders can shift from directive management to a coaching mindset that builds trust, resilience, and high-performing teams. Participants will learn core coaching competencies—deep listening, powerful questioning, and curiosity—and how these skills improve engagement, reduce burnout, and strengthen outcomes for staff and patients alike. Practical tools and examples demonstrate how coaching can be embedded into daily leadership practice, even in high-pressure clinical settings.
